Can a woman get pregnant if her husband has a vasectomy done ?

I get the "test" done every four to five years since I had my vasectomy (to insure that I am still sterile). It has been nearly 25 years, and I am still not a "dad". But that is the reason I had it. The chances are about 1:2000. But let us put that in perspective..... About 500,000 vasectomies are performed each year in the USA. That means about about 250 vasectomies will fail each year. Almost no men go back to get the "test" done regular like I do.
