When will this madness stop? Why are some Americans so hellbent on political correctness? Whens enough enough?

We (the USA) are the epitome of a "melting pot". We are proud to host a vast array of people, cultures and religions. But in the mad obsession we've developed to avoid excluding anyone or trying not to "offend", we are not only transforming ourselves into a soggy pile of mush, but we are destroying the thing that made us the great nation that we had become! FREEDOM. Freedom has a back bone. Freedom disagrees, yet alows both parties to coexist out of RESPECT. What's your feeling on the subject?
