This might sound stupid but...how do you flirt?

How do you subtly flirt? My friends say I flirt but I don't realize I'm doing it. I'm only 14 btw, nothing inappropriate. Almost done with 8th grade, entering 9th. How exactly do you flirt when you're a girl my age and not go overboard?
