Why was Obama implying that the U.S. took the lead in organizing a military intervention in Libya?

Its all about re-election when it comes to 0bama and his liberal supporters. No 0bama did not take the lead, in fact he can't wait till someone else officially can be named as "Leader" if you will. Now ask yourself, is this because 0bama does not want his Muslim supporters to think that he's bearing arms against a fellow Muslim who has called 0bama his son, or could it be that 0bama is that weak as a leader and does not want to be embarred by his inabilities to lead? Or could it be that since he was a peace candidate when he was elected the first time he doesn't want to destroy that cover? And as for your question, "does he (0bama) just bank on the fact people are stupid", you can never ignore 0bama's hubris.
