How many days are you off from school or work when having gastric emptying study?

I believe you only need a couple of hours to go to the hospital for the x rays...and most of that is for registering and waiting. You can call the docs office or the radiology dept where you are going to ask. I am a nurse and the gastric emptying studies I have seen are just xrays that take a few minutes.
