Hurricane Ike Question- Texas areas..?

``I am wondering how Hurricane Ike will effect Dallas Texas. I have a flight leaving Minneapolis. Mn at 6am Sunday Morning. I am flying to Dallas for job training for 3 days. I am wondering what to expect? I leave Sunday morning. Should I be concerned about evacuation? Hurricanes completely new to me.. being in the Midwest. Will my flight be cancelled? Looking for reasonable input.
