Dry skin!!?

Can anyone recommend something to wash my face with that won't DRY it to pieces??? Seems that everything is way too drying, including Noxzema, and I've also tried other more expensive brands like Clinique and Merle Norman. I have to use a ton of moisturizer and my face is still like a desert!! Recommendations? Thanks!
