Is this innocent from this guy?? So what happened?

He probably thought that since you were working late, you should have come and talked to him instead of your boss. He probably thought, "Oh, boy, tonight's the night!" and when it didn't turn out that way, he slammed out of there. Seems like he has a nasty temper when things don't go his way.
