8th grade history: Native Americans retaliating against white settlers?

What were some specific things Native Americans did during the late 1800s in retaliation to the growing number of white settlers? It's meant to be drawn: I already have a bow and arrow, a gun, and a man with a spear on horseback. Yes, it's cheesy. Any other ideas? It doesn't have to be a weapon.
