My daughter in year 11 and doing gcse textiles?

does anyone know how many metres of fabric she needs to make 6 year old childs dress? Also how much on average would the fabric (cotton) cost? She is doing all the paperwork connected to textiles and needs to know - please help!!!!!!!!!!!
